What does CASE do?

CASE Shetland gets involved in projects in many different capacities, from designing longed-for dream extensions of a family home, to project managing multiple contractors on commercial sites, our works are varied and always innovative.

Whether our clients need a full structural survey, planning applications and building warrants submitted, roads and drainage issues resolved or a more specialised service for a unique project, we have the expertise at CASE to make it happen with efficiency and collaboration.

    We have experience working on a range of projects, from residential extensions and new builds through to commercial redevelopments and ecclesiastical buildings.

  • Our Engineering Team have extensive Civil Engineering design experience, and can undertake:

    • Topographical Site Surveys

    • Ground Investigations

    • Design and Specification of Drainage

    • Access Road Design

    • Percolation Tests and Rainfall Calculations

    We also have a wealth of site based experience, including Setting Out, Cut/Fill measures etc.

  • Our experienced staff provide valuable Clerk of Works services, to ensure that your project is properly executed on site and in line with all relevant technical, engineering and architectural plans.

    • Undertake Regular Site Visits

    • Monitor Contractor Performance

    • Ensure Contract Compliance

    • Check Construction Details

  • As CASE Shetland have developed and expanded we have become adept at Building Inspections:

    • Checking for Structural Defects

    • Subsidence and Cracking

    • Condition Inspections

    • Repair Recommendations and Indicative Costs

    Building inspections include Listed Buildings, churches, former schools and residential dwellings.

    We can produce high quality Technical Reports including repair / remodelling details as required.

  • Our team have experience acting as Project Managers across multiple sectors, including the highly regulated Oil & Gas industry.

    Our role can include:
